Wie zijn we

De dienst Anesthesie van het AZ Nikolaas bestaat momenteel uit 23 artsen. Samen zorgen zij voor:

  • de verdovingen tijdens ingrepen in het operatiekwartier;
  • sedaties bij bepaalde onderzoeken en behandelingen;
  • postoperatieve pijntherapie (Acute Pain Service);
  • pijnloze bevallingen in het verloskwartier;
  • de behandeling van zwaar zieke patiënten op de afdeling Intensieve zorgen;
  • de preoperatieve consultatie.
